   De' Gullah Griot:

   Giovanni Richardson

Paramount Cheiftess of the Gullah Nation of North America

The Gullah culture is ingrained deep into our genetics, making us sticklers for ensuring your cultural experience is the best it can be in this region. That's why we've consult with elders aging up to 107 years young for our oral historical knowledge dating back over 300 years of modern information and up to 5000 years of history. The Gullah/Geechee oral history told by elders, griots, and storytellers can have traced back to the era of Tunis and Mali, the times of the ancient ones of the homeland, Akebulan aka Africa. The oral history revealed by the elders of the information travels through the Gullah / Geechee diaspora, which is not limited to the Lowcountry, Gullah Geechee Corridor, or  USA but also travel the Caribbean and South American paths connecting the true knowledge of the Gullah Geechee.
