The ultimate mission is the promotion of cultural awareness of the Gullah Geechee people and the indigenous Sea Island Americans. The concept is to increase tolerance and inclusion by providing an educational platform using diversity as a key knowledge point. Our primary belief is in teaching using a unbiased opinions. Our Mission is to bring awareness, recognition, and preservation of the ever-growing Gullah Culture of the Sea Island, using fact and truths allows for new questions from misrepresented, lost or forgotten knowledge of the lowcountry and surrounding area native, Gullah-Geechee, and enslaved africans voices to be heard.
A Taste of Gullah has a specialized focus on the Native Sea Island traditions and authenticity of the Gullah Geechee in cuisine, history, arts, and culture in the regions of the Gullah Diaspora.
